This Privacy Policy explains how Oddo Accounting Solutions LLC (“Oddo Accounting Solutions,” “OAS,” “we,”  “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.oddosolutions.com and any related  pages, tools, and calculators (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This  Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.

1. Scope: website visitors vs. clients

This Policy covers information collected through the Site from visitors. It does not govern the information we  handle when you engage us as a client for bookkeeping, tax preparation, or advisory services. Client  information is governed by your engagement agreement and by applicable professional confidentiality rules  and law (including, for tax return information, Internal Revenue Code §7216 and related regulations). Please do not submit tax documents, financial account details, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive client  information through the Site's general contact features. 

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. If you contact us or request services through the Site, we collect the  information you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of  your message.

Information from the calculators and tools. The calculators and tools on the Site are designed to run entirely  within your web browser. The figures you enter are used only to display a result to you on your own device.  They are not transmitted to, collected by, or stored by Oddo Accounting Solutions.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected  automatically through cookies and similar technologies, such as your IP address, browser type, device  information, pages viewed, and referring website. The Site uses Google Analytics for this purpose, as  described in Section 4 below.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiries and provide information you request;

  • operate, maintain, and improve the Site;

  • understand how visitors use the Site;

  • send you updates or communications you have requested, and let you opt out at any time; and

  • comply with law and protect our legal rights.

We do not use the figures entered into the Site's calculators for any purpose, because we do not receive them.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate properly and to measure traffic. Specifically, the  Site uses Google Analytics, a web-analytics service provided by Google, which uses cookies to help us  understand how visitors find and use the Site. The information generated is collected and processed by  Google under its own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Most browsers let you  refuse or delete cookies through their settings; disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.  You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. With vendors who help us operate the Site and our business — for example,  website hosting, email, scheduling, or analytics providers — who may process information on our behalf.  

  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Oddo Accounting Solutions, our clients, or others. 

  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. 

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we  are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information collected through the Site.  However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute  security. This is another reason not to send sensitive documents through the Site's general contact features. 

8. Data retention

We retain information collected through the Site only as long as needed for the purposes described in this  Policy or as required by law, and then delete.

9. Your choices and rights

You may:

  • ask us what personal information we hold about you and request that we correct or delete it;

  • opt out of any marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us; and

  • adjust your browser settings to limit cookies.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not  knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us  information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised,  and changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes  acceptance of the revised Policy.
